1. The Consultation
Commissions are an opportunity for the artist and customer to work together to create something magical. Custom pieces allow you to tailor your vision into a reality rather than search endlessly for a painting that may not exist. It is my pleasure to assist you in choosing the size, palette, theme, style, and subject you seek. This may be as simple as showing me a photograph or requesting something similar to one of my previous works. The process begins with an initial conversation via phone, email, or in person if you are local.

2. Our Agreement
Following our initial conversation, I will send you a detailed invoice. I require a 50% deposit before beginning any custom design work. I will send photos during the painting process for your approval or should any changes be required. This is a collaborative process and I want you to love your one-of-a-kind original artwork. Once approved, I will send an invoice for the remaining balance and ship out your painting. 

3. Timeframe
Large acrylic paintings are completed within 2 to 3 weeks. After the painting is dry, I glaze it for UV protection and preservation. The painting is then wired for hanging and packaged with paper and bubble wrap before being placed in a box and shipped via priority courier (I use Purolator or Canada Post with tracking numbers). Shipping fees are not included in the price of the painting and will be determined by the distance travelled. If you are within the Niagara area, I will deliver the painting free of charge.

How Can I Purchase A Painting?

My paintings are available on this website or through specific galleries/decor shops that carry my work. Simply press the 'Add To Cart' button and you will be brought to a secure page to place your payment. Once made, you will receive an email confirmation from me and the painting will be sent to the address you've entered by courier. 

What Is Your Return Policy?

There are no returns on original artwork.

How Long Does It Take To Ship?

All paintings, prints, and cards are sent from my studio in Niagara (Canada) unless you've purchased a piece from a gallery. Once a purchase has been made, you will receive an email confirmation immediately and another confirmation once the order has been shipped. All orders are shipped via courier (Purolator or Canada Post) with a tracking number. Shipping charges depend on your location and are calculated at checkout.

Canada:                1 to 4 business day delivery for local and regional orders.
                              4 business day delivery for national orders.
 USA:                    3 to 7 business day delivery.
International:      5 to 15 business day delivery. 
Please note...paintings sent to Australia are removed from the wooden stretchers and rolled in a tube and usually take two weeks to arrive (I've sent pieces as far away as Darwin, Perth, Sydney, and Melbourne).

Are All Of Your Paintings On The Website?

No. Many of my paintings, both sold and available, are not shown on my website. If interested in a painting you've seen on my artist's Facebook page or Instagram, please email me at rebmontemurro@gmail.com to request it. 

Does Your Work Follow Copyright?

Of course! The purchase of a painting or print does not entitle the buyer to reproduce the artwork for profit in any way. Copyright and ownership of the artwork remains with Rebecca Montemurro, all rights reserved. Thank you.:)
